Hi
I have been on sertraline 150mg for 4 months i've had some problem relating to my neck being extreamly sore, other that that, alls well.
Hi,
I have been on sertraline for the last 8 years and I have also been suffering joint pain. I wonder if thats a side effect, thought it might be old age creeping on. Be interested to see if others have suffered, irritable leg syndrome as well as sore knees and stiff necks?
just wrote a long message to be told name is in use,so now checking.
Hi I have also been on Sertraline for about 6 months. I started on 50mg and was slowly taken up to 200mg.
I didn't really associate the aches and pains I had with the drug until I got to the high dosage.
I felt like and old lady, my back aches, especially when I have just got up my knee joints and painful all the time and I feel totally worn out.
I found that I slept all day and dozed at night. I couldn't function properly and became frightened to leave the house. I was told to presevere. However one day I was feeling so rough my daughter and husband decided to make a Dr appointment for me. When I explained my symptons the Dr suggested taking 100mg instead of 200mg daily. I was a little nervouse but decided to give it a go. Over the next few days I started to feel a lot more normal. I could stay awake all day, my thoughts weren't all jumbled and I started losing weight. Also feel a lot more positive. Sometimes it's trial and error with the dosage and the Dr can't get every case right straight on.
My advice is to keep a diary of feelings and problems and just keep asking the Dr as many questions as you need to know. Not everyone is the same so what suits one person doesn't suit the next.
