Hi,
I have had anxiety for around 3 years now and successfully came off Sertraline earlier this year. I was ok for a while but have been getting negative thoughts and over the top worrying again lately. For the past couple of weeks, I have had stiff sore knees (both) along with weird twitching and shooting pains down both legs. I can’t relate this to anything I’ve done lately such injury but I’m wondering if it’s anxiety related. I have never had this before but the timing seems consistent with my returning anxious thoughts. I have a Drs appointment next week but in the meantime wondered if anyone has any advice or experience of these symptoms with anxiety? Thanks
yes, the twitching is very common with anxiety. its harmless, ive had it off and on for over 30 yrs.
pain and soreness can be anxiety related, but can also be from the way muscles are used, etc simply have it checked out if it continues.
negative thoughts, worrying are extremely common and meds dont always help much. we have to learn to manage those.
counseling helps, you tube meditations for anxiety, exercise, but most importantly, a strong, positive mindset!!

hi
did u get electric sensation in feet and legs also and in nerves ? also tingking and weird sensation in feets and imbalance while walking . i get this now 24*7 and eyes also heavy . i am always worried and crying
you are from much country?
My anxiety is in a way the same, but instead of sore knees I get bad leg pains in my thighs, calfs and feet which I never experienced without anxiety.
well I did used to get sore feet but only when I would do a 8 hour shift on a hard retail floor.
the constant worry and negative thoughts are what is keeping me in my damn anxious state.
