ive had a sore throat for a week and noticed this yesterday. im worried what it is, is one of my tonsils swollen?
It’s hard to tell if this is swollen or not because I don’t know what your tonsils usually look like. One of mine, for example, always looks more swollen than the other.
You said you had a sore throat, so it could be that your tonsil is still irritated because of that.
At least in my case, whenever I have a throat infection or sore throat, my tonsils get more swollen and red.
Anyway, maybe it would be a good idea to check this with your doctor.
thanks for replying. i rang the dr and he said it looks normal but he said give it a month and if it gets worse to let him know. if it goes down or stays the same then its ok. i dont really know what it usually looks like as i dont often look in my mouth, also my tongue at the back is a bit white too
