Soreness and severe uncomfortable feeling exactly where gallbladder was

Hi all,

I had my gallbladder removed in February of this year and no severe issues since it’s been removed since.

I have started personal training this week and done 2 classes. I will add, I’m very unfit, I’m healthy weight wise. But since I’ve being doing the weights/cardio , I have an awful pull feeling exactly where my gallbladder was.. when I was at home after it being removed I was like a turtle on its back and I’m like that now all across that area is a pull and a bit of pain.. when I press in on that area it’s sore which it was never before since it healed. I’m wondering is it because of me not being fit and it’s scar tissue or is it a possibility I’ve done damage to the area? There is staples still on the inside of 1 area. Any advice I’d appreciate it.

You might have strained yourself if you are over weight you should do gentle exercise like walking I got my self a fitbit and I find it a great help for keeping check on how much exercise i am doing daily and I have managed to lose 2 stone swimming and walking is very good for weight loss until you feel fit enough to do something more strenous.best wishes.

sorry you said you were not overweight but maybe you should start with more gentle exercise until you feel fitter.

Thank you for your reply townko. Yeah, I’m thinking I should of started very light to begin with. If the pain is still there in the morning, I’m going to get it checked just in case. I don’t want to take any chances.
