I’m 28 years old and female. I had a red bump on the top of my mouth that didn’t really hurt so I left it. A few days later I looked again and there are now 2 red patches at the top of my mouth that are a bit sore but not massively. I’m concerned that it is spreading. It’s not accompanied by anything like sore throat or any other illness symptoms except I’ve been quite tired but that could just be because I’ve had a busy Xmas! I’ve now had this for about a week. People are saying it’s probably burns but I’ve burnt myself before and it hasn’t felt like this. I’m really scared it’s oral cancer. I smoked for a good while in my youth. I’ve mostly quit in the last couple of months with a couple of drunken relapses. I don’t drink particularly often and I don’t take drugs or chew tobacco or anything like that… What do you think this could be?? Thank you in advance. I’m going to the doctors as soon as I can get in!
