So I've been going hell for leather on this new eating plan (very very low fat) not calorie counting too much, but I am keeping a journal of what I eat with the help of an app on my iPhone , I'm also using ketones for their caffeine boost, so far over the 4 weeks my average calorie intake is 734, only 3 or 4 times has my day resulted in over 1000 calories, today for example is 524, I've had shakes and a generous amount of fresh fruit,
I'm soo tired tho, and twice yesterday I felt light headed, not at all today, it's been really warm in fife so I'm wondering if it's the heat or the calories, I'm not going without at all, so please don't slate the calorie intake
Hi shelagh my well being nurse has advised no less than 1200 calories a day. That is possibly why you gave felt lightheaded! I am not an expert but perhaps have a chat at your gp surgery for advise.

I'm not sure about the protein intake, I eat lots of apples and oranges tho
I would imagine the shakes would be providing some too, I've just invested in a juicer machine so next week I shall start juicing veg as well,
I wanted a fast start on this (started at 101.5 kg and today 97.5kg 4 weeks this Wednesday)
But obviously I'm wanting something to last forever and not a quick fix ( goal weight is 10 stone so 4ish to go) so don't want to set myself up to fail like I have in the past I literally cringe when I read the packet on the foods I used to be addicted to now.. All this fat is from toxins my digestive system didn't know what to do with... Which is disgusting to think about lol
Ok if it happens again I'll see the doctor, but I'm reluctant as I don't want her to take me off them .. Fingers crossed my blood pressure is lower and I'll have enough brownie points to warrant another month lol
I know you think you are having enough, but I am really concerned about how little calories you are having. I know when its hot most of us dont feel like eating as much as we usually would.
The amount you are having is quite drastic and not really sustainable, the last think you want it to make yourself ill. Personally I think the reason you are tired is because your intake is not enough. Its great that you are so enthusiastic about your weight loss, but as you know it is very important to do it in a heathy way.
Please please ask your doctors advise about this x x x x
Well today I successfully up'd the calories, in total I've had:
Coffee for brekky-skimmed milk
Weight control shake
Freshly squeezed apple & orange juice
4 slices of lightly buttered wholemeal toast
Cup of air blown popcorn
2 apples
All comes up to 905 calories
I'm sure if I'd planned better I could have had a lovely main meal for more or less the snack calories, but it was raining and I couldn't be bothered haha x

When I did slimming world years ago they said to eat fruit whole / bite/chew them because your body breaks it down better than blitzing them into a smoothie. Not completely sure on the reasoning behind it - just thought I would share xx
Feel tonnes better thankyou, I'd have probably carried on like that and not seen the harm just had a bowl of alpen with skimmed milk too lol so now I'm defiantly over 1000.
