Hello, I was prescribed Sertraline for anxiety, within days I noticed that my work speed was back up, like someone had knocked away 10 years of ageing. Now two years later I have decided to come off, as my anxiety is gone. I have dropped from 75 to 50mg and I have noticed that my work speed has dropped off again. Do you think this is the medication or just coincidence?
It could be the medication but it could also be psychological. When I discontinued Paxil 5 years ago after 10 years on it, my anxiety, obsessions and depression all came back. It would have helped if I did it gradually and with the support of a good cbt therapist.
