Hi everyone this may be old news but we have spoken about SCS before,just today i have 'had the call' and having my ore op on 5th May and the operation on 15th May i am 43 and live in UK and am a bit nervous.
Good luck I hope the op goes well .I am also in the Uk. .I have heard of othere peope who have had that op and they think its the best thing they done

I had the permanent implant on the 2nd March and do not regret it for a minute. I can sleep, have cut down on the pain killers and even started walking a mile each lunchtime. I am happier and actually starting to look forward to things. If you need to know anything else just let me know you go for it and get your life back

That's fantastic news. Good luck. I've just had to put in a formal complaint as still not heard anything. Hope your op gives you some pain relief.

Yes live in Bournemouth. Sent in a complaint as been waiting 12 weeks for a fusion, and been told it won't be till August/September. However they should be keeping waiting times to a maximum of 18 weeks or offer an alternative. x
They will do it before then im sure. I had my SCS trial in Dec 14 they said my implant would be in by March.I think its they get bumped down the list with theatre time x
In my case it's due to the surgeon being off sick from October 2014 to January 2015, and now about to go off sick again until August 2015. Let us know how you get on, fingers crossed it's going to make a difference x
