i believe that spirit speaks to us in many ways ,with me its words ,
they come to me out of the blue some times at night before sleep some times during sleep ,or sometimes while emptying the washer.

Writing poetry and songs keeps me sane but not too sane, and sometimes words fly into my head as though it wasn't me that thought them. In the middle of the night sometimes I'm woken up by words I have to write down.
Our spirits hear the universes singing

I'm not sure if I've ever read Kiplings 'If' but I will now!
In an Open University module on the Science of the Mind they say that when people are in 'the flow' as in running, writing poetry or something they're enjoying it's very healing for the body.
yes iv written alot in the past then it was like i became totaly locked in
since my last few readings with lainy things have become so clear
and my channels have started to open up again.to spirit.
spirit will not try and make connect with you if your ill .in any way
so with lainy and my accupuntrist emma using a brilliant healing heart
point i am doing alot better at not letting people upset me ,
if they dont like that i am out spoken then fine
,my son i love but i cant deal with my problems and his depression so i just tell him to stop it iv offered him advice and help but he wont try , so now i just say travis i dont want your moods making my life worse and i just block it out instaed of letting him get to me .might sound heartless but iv got to protect myself .from outside negativity .
i shall have to look them two up ,iv heard of the raven
IF is a great poem to dedicate to your children when they turn 18
its meant for sons ,but i think it works equaly well for daughters

i like listen to people reading .poetry or books .
Spirit is closer than ever when we're ill. We just feel like we can't hear it as well as when we were healthy. I suppose that's why we look to strongly spiritual people to remind us.
Me and my son went through a similar thing when he lived here. He didn't understand how very ill I was, and my frustrations got out of control sometimes. He understands now and we support each other.
I heard some advice that I took to heart, I think from spirit; I started listening to the music he was listening to and really liked a lot of it. It gave us something to talk about that wasn't about me being ill or him having to go to college and his struggles with it.
oh yes georgia your right spirit is always there with us esp when we are ill its just that they know we are to ill so they dont make contact with us they just sit with us or walk beside us .
thats great that you and your son can share the gift of music travis is not that keen on music .
