My dr wants me to split my 75 mgs of Ven that I normally take once a day to taking twice a day-37.5 in AM & 37.5 in PM. Will I experience any weird side effects doing this?
hello, no you shouldnt, in fact you should feel slightly better, as you will be receiving a more even supply of ven throughout 24 hours. whether you are changing from extended release to immediate or not, you should feel a slight benefit. its more hassle taking twice a day, and can be more expensive, which is why once a day is generally used, but twice a day is better than once. it should improve how you feel first thing on a morning. i know you are coming off ven, so its not going to make a huge difference.
