Sporadic panic attacks?

So this is not for me but my girlfriend. She foesnt think its a big deal but i want a second opinion. She has been having these panic attacks that basically stop her from functioning. But the symptoms i see are more like an intermittent absence siezure. I made a list of everything I noted below.

18 y.o. female

Repeatedly Stops breathing for a few seconds every few minutes. Eyes dilate. And no response to verbal commands. Like she is alseep with eyes open. Can be predicted by pattern of eye dilation. Almost behaves like narcolepsy.

HR 40 to 60 with little to no change during different levels of responsiveness.

Inability to talk while moving

Inability to move while talking.

Delayed responses to verbal cues ranging from 3 to 8 seconds at times. Usually right after an episode of not breathing.

Response to pain is wildly out of proportion, a small pinch to the leg will result in excessive crying and flailing.

Cannot maintain an upright posture for extended time.

Short attention span.

Claims she feels "heavy and unmotivated "

History of anxiety attacks.

Does suffer from anxiety/depression and hypothyroidism.

We have been together for a year and it does not happen often. Maybe 10 times in the last year. Couple times during sex.

Sorry to hear this. Has she seen a dr?

She has for her anxiety she started taking sertraline in november. But she hasnt for these attacks that i am aware of.

I would suggest that she does advise her dr as the dr needs a full picture as to what is going on. Take care

Do you have any health issues? Keenly observant so im curious. Just keep an eye on her anxiety can do weird things too. So can the meds sometimes. Maybe the two of you can do yoga together. Learn breathing for anxiety. Start slow. If she is close to her family maybe you can  note all this to her Mother and see what she thinks.

I used to be an EMT, so i pick up on a lot. Thanks for the ideas.

Vikhart what is an EMT? Is it a paramedic?

Similar. There are different levels of EMT. Paramedic is the highest at level 3. I was a basic and level 1.

Thanks. Did u get the video by Prof John Duncan?
