Spot appeared, not sure what it is?

Hi all,

I discovered the spot on my public region about a month ago, after I ran a hot bath it seemed like an ingrown hair ready to be popped, so I popped it and it oozed out, and a scab has formed.

Last week, this little spot (literally where my shaft would rest on the spot on the pubic region) developed on my penis shaft. I also had a sort of painless rash that just dissappeared.

I have been with a new partner for about 8 months, and had a fair few sexual encounters before that and twice it was unprotected.

I am worried it is some kind of dormant HPV (wart) or Herpes. Could anyone offer a view?

I have the same on my shaft and I am suspecting syphilis… but for you, the timing does not look like it.
unless you have an open relation with your partner…

i tested negative for all major STI’s including syphilis

Also the woman at the GUM clinic basically said she thought it was a pimple, but just not sure
