Spots over my penile shaft

Hello. i have small spots all over my penile shaft. i have been with the same partner for 8/9 years and we both have been sti tested so have ruled out that. After doing research on google, i am unsure to whether they just are fordyce spots or not. it doesnt itch or irritate at all.

Any input about whether to not worry about it or to make a GP or go to GUM clinic greatly appreciated. Regards

no need to see a doctor they are just fordyce spots most men have them

thanks for the response! any idea what causes these spots? and do they go away eventually?

they can go away on there own yes its just oil production under the skin

As Kim says above, they are normal fordyce spots and very common. I have lots of them (much more than your pictures show, especially on the underside of my penis) and they first started appearing when I was 12-13. I’m 51 now and they are showing no signs of fading or going away, i’m quite used to them nowadays.

thanks for the reply. i thought thats what they are, just needed some reassurance. these have arisen recently and i am 33. just was unsure why out of the blue they started showing. once again thanks for the advice.
