hello, i was wondering if anyone had any good results come out of SSRIS. as in helping with eye floaters, flashes in light, bright lights feeling spaced out. has anyone got relieved with pills? PLEASE answer im losing hope
first ssri I was on was citalopram. it worked amazing for 5 years. I would go as far to say it saved my life.
I went from not being able to leave my bedroom
to working, travelling, playing live music to living life again.
it really was a life saver for me.
so when docs say they only help a little and they don’t do much it’s a load of rubbish.
all of your symptoms are anxiety and when your anxiety goes so will the symptoms.
it can be rough starting at first but it’s worth it to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
what were your symptoms? if you dont mind me asking & thank you im just scared to get on them because of failure of them working i also dont want to be on them forever
I just read you’re scared to start.. so my doctor prescribed me sertraline, it took me 8 weeks to actually start, I was petrified! I started off on 25mg, I’m now on week 3 and on 75mg, upping my dose slowly, I’ve only had minor side effects.. my anxiety definitely hasn’t gone away yet but it’s only week 3.. will take a few more weeks yet but honestly go for it! you’ve got nothing to lose!xx
