Stabbing pain behind/in eye..

Anyone ever get a stabbing pain in or behind eye with their memo symptoms? Mine happened when bending over I sat back up quickly and sat down it went away but the sensation was still their I just laid back in bed until I fell back asleep. My eyes and mouth have been very dry, and heat is running 24/7 as it's below zero these past couple days, it's in my left eye, scared to bend or do any quick movements.. Anyone else?

Also Anxiety through the roof!

Hi Gypsy, I also have the dry eyes and bad dry mouth too, I do pain in mine from time to time but have also Glaucoma..you could go to your Dr if it doesn't stop but I was told from my eye Dr meno plays around with your eyes but wouldn't damage them Ok hope this helps.

Hi Maria, yes that helps ease my mind a bit.. Yes my eyes too are so dry especially after I fall asleep and then wake up in the middle of the night, which is what happened last night went to use washroom and had to bend to pick something up and had a very sharp stabbing pain in my eye, then almost a panic attack.. Well I hope that's all it is, thanks for sharing..

Can you develop glaucoma during peri/menopause? And did you develop yours entering or during your peri/menopause? I'm wondering now if that is what's happening to me...

Hi Gypsy..people do develope things during menopause but you must remember it will be temporary like the menopause if it happens Ok...I get so many stabbing pains in my head in my eyes niggling ones all over me ain't funny..do you get Anixety I suffering with that at night it seems to wait till drop off and attack me about time I stop going through this 8 years.

Hi Maria yes I have anxiety really bad.. And ever since this happened in the middle of the night my anxiety is through the roof as you can imagine and 8m trying to calm down.. Thank you

Like me..do you think Anixety gets better

I sure it does get better, really don't know how much longer someone has to hold onto hope that their symptoms will one day end! Some days I can't even stand up very long , or walk very far, or breathe really well..I just can't take it anymore!

I sure hope it does get better, I tried to say!

Hi Gypsy, yes I know the feeling are nearing menopause yet.
