I suffer with otosclerosis and I'm awaiting a Stapedectomy procedure to correct this. This involves an incision to allow access to the ear canal and the removal of the Stapes bone and replacing it with a prosthesis. I want to know the risks of having this procedure under local anaesthetic whilst pregnant.
