Started in Valdoxan one week ago. Feeling down for no reason. Waking early..

hi there.   After trying several SSRI and also Cymbalta all with varying problems associated with all of them over quite a few years, I’ve Just started on Valdoxan a week ago.

Wondering if anyone could tell me about their experience on this drug.

i suffer from Generalised Anxiety Disorder .... feelings of anxiety fluctuate depending on what’s happening From day to day.   The last three days I’ve noticed an improvement in that nervous/worried feeling that comes in waves.... but instead I now have a low mood all day... and it’s particularly worse when I wake up until about mid morning.   I just feel annoyed and generally blue .. I guess it’s depressed.   I didn’t really have this feeling before Valdoxan.   Also waking up usually from a vivid dream at 5 or 6am and feeling so tired.... but unable to fall asleep again for ages.   When I do wake up am so tired and out of it.. but force myself to get up.... I feel so tired , weary and disengaged,  And No energy...   it takes a lot of effort to pull myself together and get going for the day.    Usually no appetite and hard to get enthusiastic about anything either.

Just hoping  this will all improve.    It’s only one week so far.

anyone else had these symptoms initially, but improved after a while?

how long till you saw the benefit of the drug?

Where are you? My dr said valdoxan not used innuk.

Sort Anne can you explain your comment.  I don’t understand..

Hi maree72039
I know it has been a long time, I hope you and others read this, but I can’t find any recent posts about this.

I also suffer from generalized anxiety disorder, and I am taking Valdoxan for almost 3 months now.

I feel my anxiety got worse, and I worry a lot more than before.

Did you felt like that? I am posting about this in other foruns but no answers.. How was it to you? And if someone else reads this, how did you felt?

Thank you all

i was hoping to try valdoxan for my anxiety disorder, but my dr said they dont prescribe it on nhs, i have tried many others but no help. have you tried others, maybe a change would be beneficial as it does help some people. it would maybe help to ask your dr.
