Have been in bed for 2 days the worst flu symptoms and sores on genitals. Have gone to doctors and they have prescribed the medication to help treat herpies- also they done a test but more than likely i suspect it is going to be it. 
just wondered how long till medication starts to kick in and i start feeling a bit better? thanks X
same happened with me, just didn’t have flu symptoms. just started the medication yesterday.
are they starting to get better? what did thry prescribe you? ,
They feel better most of the day… but still very uncomfortable.. they prescribe me valacyclovir
they seem to me to be getting worse, i have to get in the bath to wee the pain is so bad. they prescribes me aclovir and is my second day so hopefully will start getting better.
i recently had my first outbreak took me about 7 days to finally stop having flu symptoms and stop feeling excruciating pain
