Hi ladies, I was 6 weeks post rectocele on Wednesday and had no blood for nearly a week.Saw bits of stitches on pad last week. Tonight I went to the loo and there is blood on my pad again and I have had really bad bach ache today. My mood has been very low lately and now this has scared me as I am sure in other posts it has said that blood and discharge should be clear at 6 weeks, any thoughts? please. I am 59 and this is my second rectocele, my first was 15ish tears ago.
I definitely would very the spring checked. Mood is due to your hormones. Black Cohosh and Primrose should help👍
Hi there, thanks Diana, the spotting etc has all cleared up now and I will try the Black cohosh and Primrose.
Had a word with practice nurse and she said I expect to much of myself ( as is my nature ) and to just still rest lots and it will take longer this time to get back to normal as I am much older than last time.

Chris it is normal to expect so much from ourselves. Your a female which means you use to keeping everyone and everything together for your household. But now its time for YOU!!! Enjoy this break. Dont feel guilty and give your body time to heal. I pray the vitamins help !! I forgot to mention magnesium as well.
