Feeling anxious bout starting stertraline today

Hi,

I started on 50mg about 9 months ago and they work fine for me, I had to have an increase due to problems at work, they do help but not element my anxiety but with breathing exercises and releasing tense muscles with stretching it all helps. I have not noticed any side effects just feel more relaxed. Hope this helps

I have been on citropram for over 5 yrs from 20 to 40

Then last week bam !!!!

Anxiety came back with vengeance scared the life out of me .

I went gp and she said to come off citropam by jalving it gor one week which i have done .

Felt bit numb all week .

Now i start stertraline 25mg today .

I finished citropram yest .

Just so anxious starting it ..wont it interact with citropam being in me for so long ?

And these side effects i hear bout

Cant sleep or lose weight dizziness sick anxiety all this svares me ..x

All meds have some side affects and they only become a problem if we focus on them. The GP would not have prescribed your new meds if she thought they would cause more problems. Don't forget there are helplines out there you can call.

Sorry but I disagree. Side effects should be taken seriously and reported to the dr then a yellow card filled out and sent to MHRA.
