needing some reasurance
i am bout to start citrapram again today
i was on for bout 5 years and was great and really helped me
unfortunely last july my anxiety and panic returned .my dr switched me to sertraline and have been on this nearly 10 months now starting from 25 going up to a100
anxiety went away for a while but slowley creeping back
i eventually saw a psy
and she said try citrapram again 10 mg and then up to 20 in a week
i am soo scared
plz anyone out there to give me some reasurance

ive just re started citalopram myself as was on it fir 8 years. been off it fir 2 but restarted 14 days ago
have not left great but i know itchelped last time x
Hi Victoria,when did you come off Sertraline ? or are you going to take both.

no i stopped sert mon
and start citrapram today on 10mg
i take diaz too as my anxiety is sky high in the mornings

i used to be on cit for yrs but last july i woke up with severe panic out of no where
couldnt belive this was back so my gp switched me to sert and i lost weight and anxiety never went
only thing that helped me was diazapam
been on sert since last july till now
not helped me at all i went frim 25 upto 100 i couldnt handle it so was put down to 50
only just built up the courage to start back on citrapram
10 mg for 3 days then up to 20 mg
i am praying i will get better
i saw a psh and she said to try back on ur old ones which i have

its day 5 on cit and anxiety is bad every morning and feel so low

omg well i am day 11 on 10 mg
after switching direct from sert
i feel soo rough honestly sally
dizzy unbalanced blurred vision on and off
waking up crack of dawn every single day with that doom feeling
i feel sooo low and so scared
i dont know if its the switch or the cit or hormonez
i just feel like jumping off a bridge at times just to escape this hell

my head is like a roller coaster
dresdfull and feel soo low and feel of complete doom
oh
i know i felt like jumping out of the window one day on mine i was so agitated it was horrible and scary
stick with it tho
i was thinking is it my hormones
etc
you will get through this bit, a few more days and you will start to feel a bit lighter.

all those symptoms you describe are all too familiar .i had the same or probably worst from the withdraws and startups from celexa.
i am 47 sally
and work with people with learning needs

yeah its horrible
i feel meds and the swapping and changing has caused me brain damage
i even saw a psy tbh she was useless she just said yeah u have anxiety so try go back on cit as they worked before
but i felt litterly being on a time clock and being pushed away
i honestly thought brill i have a specialist to help me but all she said was try another ad
nothing bout withdrawing or how it will effect me nothing
im 43 and work in secure mental
health nurse
so many people i know on anti depressants
i think
some do take it to help with hormones and menopause.
