Starting New Meds 😬

Tomorrow I am starting on a new med called Secukinumab (Cosentyx). I have tried a lot of other meds, methotrexate, leflunomide, sulphursalazine, humira and inflixamab, all which have given me problems with thrush 😕 etc, I’m really hoping this works for me, has anyone else got any experience of this drug? Thank you

Do you have a dry mouth? Do you find yourself constantly needing to drink a lot? A dry mouth can cause a problem with thrush. And with a dry mouth it sometimes won't show the white patches that are normally seen with thrush. I'm just throwing this out as a possible reason for you getting thrush.

Hi I started cosentyx about 6weeks ago and I noticed a huge improvement after the loading doses. However my problem has reoccurred waiting the 4 weeks for the next dose. I haven’t suffered any side effects like I did with all the other meds I tried so I hope this one will work.would be good to be in touch with someone going through same.
