Had my op on Saturday (bunion removed and dislocated second toe fixed with K-pin). Discovering that pain is manageable provided I remember to keep on top of painkillers and don't wait until actually hurting before dosing up!
welcome to the forum, hope you are doing OK the first few days can be hard
I am on day 5 from a Keller fusion and agree don't wait for the pain before taking the pain killers. I am finding I can reduce the pills as time goes on. Also important to keep foot elevated as much as possible. Apprehensive about what is in store when plaster comes off and stitches come out though.
Once bandage of off...ice packs can help too...
