I wanted to share my experience with IPF and Pirfenidone. I have been taking Pirfenidone for a few months now and while it’s not a cure for IPF, it does help in slowing down the disease’s progression. Initially I experienced some side effects, such as nausea and fatigue but I found that taking it with food significantly reduced those issues. My doctor also ensures regular blood tests to monitor liver health, which is an essential part of the treatment process Overall, Pirfenidone has given me hope and helped me manage my condition better.
