Hello,
I recently had sex with someone new (about 3-4 weeks ago). Only now have I noticed a weird purple looking mark on the top of my penis. It doesn't feel lumpy, nor painful but feels kind of dry. As to this there is also a white mark under my foreskin near the shaft of my penis. Pictures are attached and if someone could help it'd be appreciated
We cannot see the picture and I would guess from the time passed we are not going to!
Did you use condoms? If so the risk is even lower!
I rather doubt that it is an STI as the description doesn't really match. Possibly a bit of bruising. What you may wish to consider is how much you know about your partner's sexual history. Is it "likely" that she has had sex recently with an infected man? Are you in touch with the girl; if so why not simply say you are worried and ask [kindly] if she has any problems.
If you are in UK and the woman is infected by someone and she is sensible she goes to an STI clinic and gets treated. After treatment she will be cured certainly of the more common problems [ gonorrhea and sphilis] and can go back to normal sexual relations
gonorrhea symptoms, may have:
A burning sensation when urinating; "Lord how it stings, when you pee, these foolish things ..." as the old song says
A white, yellow, or green discharge from the penis;
Painful or swollen testicles (although this is less common).
and you have none of those.
Sphillis The symptoms of early syphilis
– symptoms of syphilis begin with a painless but highly infectious sore on the genitals, or sometimes around the mouth.
The point here is that it is an open sore which again you do not have.
Herpes causes painful blisters - which again you do not have.
Try not to worry - it's probably OK. In future pick women carefully as it were. And if you are unsure use a condom until you ahve a stable relationship or until you are sure!
Thanks for the pictures. I'd guess some scratching or brusing rather than STI
