I have a red bump on the shaft of my penis that occurred a few days ago. The bump looks like it's filled with blood, and will bleed when the bump opens up. It is about half a cm In diameter. I had unprotected sex once in my life about a week and a half ago. It does no itch, an is slightly sensitive to touch. I have constantly checked and confirmed that it is the only bump. U think this is just a bump from irritation or an std? Please help I'm traumatized!!
Hello and welcome to the forum. Did you notice this bump popping up shortly after sex? If you did, it could be lymphoceles.
It usually occurs right after sex or masturbation when the lymphs on your penis are blocked by the motion. It's actually common, especially if you had vigorous sex.
Either way, contact your local urologist and get it checked ASAP. A bump is a common symptom in many conditions so there's no realistic way to diagnose you over the internet.
Get it checked and stop worrying. And in the future, make sure you wear a condom. That will save you a lot of headache.
Thanks for the reply . I recently got tested and showed negative for herpes a I recently got tested and showed negative for herpes and syphilis. I haven't tested for the other STDs in by now the bump is gone… However I believe I probably will go back in for a follow up during the end of the month to make sure.
It's good you've taken this route. It's better safe than sorry. Just don't have unprotected sex anymore, it's not worth the risk :p
