I am still having issues with my hands and I am worried that it MUST be ALS. I had a day yesterday where it felt like I dropped lots of stuff or that more effort was required to do things than should have been needed. For example, I was carrying a large stack of papers and it felt like it was requiring every bit of energy in my hands to not drop it. Like I've mentioned previously, I've had twitches/fasiculations since the end of August. Those have improved with decreasing my caffeine. But my hands just don't work right. For my whole life I've always had clammy hands. Now it's like they aren't clammy anymore and I can't get a grip on anything. That's my feeling of them not working.....I can't grip things. Once I've gotten something picked up, I'm fine. It's not a strength issue though, but can't grip it. Which is probably the reason why I drop things sometimes too. Anyway, just freaking out.
Hi Ashley,
Have you discussed your concerns with your doctor ?
If not then that would be my advice.

Hi Zen,
Yes, I originally went in September when the twitching was really bad. He was not concerned at all, but gave me a neurology consult. I just haven’t had the nerve to call and make the appointment.
Hello,
I would 100% go to consultation to get to bottom of your concerns.
Hope all goes well
