Still have burning sensations two months after herpes, can anyone help?

I got diagnosed with genetal herpes from a blood test about a month ago. I went to the doctor because I had redness and a burning sensation on my penis after sex and at first I belived it was just friction burn but began to worry when it didnt go away after 2 weeks. the doctor gave me acyclovir and then nystain topical powder after the acylovir did not do anything for me and that also didnt work for me. Ive been to a dermatologist and he gave me gabapentin but that also hasnt worked at all. Is it possible it is something else and not herpes? This is what it looks like

Its possible you dont have anything at all, the medicine wouldve helped if you did.

Then what could be causing the redness an irritation ? By what Ive looked up it seems like balanitis.

does the tip just burn or does it feel like it burns inside
