Still struggling......

9 weeks now since I broke my patella. I've had one session of therapy. I was told I will be up and walking in no time. I'm loosing hope. I was excited to start therapy but have not seen to much progress. It's been one week today since therapy. I know it will take time. I want to walk already and do stuff. I'm back to work. Short 3-4 hour shifts. My boss allows me to sit in a chair. By the end of my shift, my foot is a balloon. I want to be normal again 😢

Hi tammy! Oh, I so understand you wanting to be better (normal is a bit boring imho) so pls, just be patient, do some research on how you can improve your chances of recovery from your current situation. I have not broken my patella but I've had two knees replaced 15 weeks ago. Stay positive! Physios, sports rehabilitation professionals, hydrotherapy and massage can all help. Sending you a hug. I hope you take solace in the knowledge we all want a great outcome! X

Has anyone out there ever had a Bakers cyst?

If so what can be done about it?

Can it cause bilateral numbness and tingling down each leg?

Breaking a patella is a big deal! So many tendons and ligaments attach there any movement of the leg afffects it.  When I've been in recovery situations it helps me to say to myself, is there anything I can do better today that I couldn't do a week ago?  Another. tip, as you sit, try to keep the leg up and move the foot.  Little steps my friend -sending healing your way.
