i'd get them to do an ultrasound. I have PCOS and because of the hormone imbalance i got mastitis (without being pregnant or breastfeeding) and they gave me antibiotics and it all cleared up but if your periods are regular it could also just be PMS symptoms i'd definitely get a second opinion
