A little over a week ago I had flu-like symptoms (except a cough), then a couple days ago I had major stomach bloating the whole day, now I get little aches and pains throughout my body, usually in the abdomen but sometimes in my arms and legs. My legs feel weak.
One of the worst parts about all of it has been my anxiety, it's been extreme worrying about everything, how it might be cancer or something.
Has anyone else had these problems? Should I go to the doctor immediately?
I'm also getting some pain in my ears and jaw, and when I'm laying in bed I get sort of minor twitching in parts of my body.

I wouldn't worry about cancer at this stage, believe me I have had cancer. But my GP was treating me for a viral infection, for 6 weeks!! I pointed out that I needed to be referred to see an oncologist (Cancer Specialist), but I diagnosed it myself - it's not easy and I personally would not recommend self-diagnosis, because your anxiety would go through the roof.
I am not a specialist but going by the symptoms I would suggest you see a GP as soon as you can. They will probably arrange blood tests and a CT Scan, just to be safe.
You haven't stated your age, that could be a good place to start, it usually 'knocks' many illnesses or disorders on the head.
There are many things that can cause bloating to the abdomen.
By the way, asking if anyone has had similar symptoms on here, is like looking for a needle in a haystack. We are all different, illnesses and disorders are never the same with people. Consultants in hospitals are the specialists, GP's just know illnesses or disorders in not so much detail, hence why they refer you to the specialists, if they are not sure about blood tests or scans, or they will get opinions from all doctors in the surgery.
When I had cancer, it was like a 'dull' ache, it's hard to explain. But don't try and diagnose yourself, using the web, it is not recommended even by doctors - eventhough now my doctor asks me what I think a problem is I tell her, and she normally goes along with my self-diagnosis, mainly because I told her that I had cancer not an infection!
But make an appointment with your doctor first.

Hi Les, thanks for your reply. I'm 18 years old, which is pretty young for any serious illness like cancer but my symptoms aren't improving. Today I still feel fatigued and I've been getting heartburn.
We phoned up to book an appointment and the soonest we can get is next Friday. I'm getting really worried.
I feel tired all the time, I've barely done anything the last 2 days because no matter how much I sleep I just want to get back in to bed. There is a dull ache across my abdomen and also weird muscle aches in my bottom. The soonest we can get a GP appointment is next Friday, I just don't know if I should go straight to the hospital because I don't feel good at all.

18yrs old, is on the borderline of Testicular cancer, but don't worry about that your other symptoms seem to point a promblem elsewhere.
I will point out about Testicular cancer though, you would have dull ache and normally a swelling in either testicle, and you could possibly feel lumps or polyps on the testicle itself.
Because I had Testicular Cancer quite a number of years ago now, both of my sons aged 21 and 26, I've always told them to check themselves when having a shower or bath, for lumps or polyps (same thing but the medical term). However, as I said before - the other issues you are having is not what you would expect with Testicular Cancer. But 18-19 yrs and upwards it is better to be safe than sorry.
Have you ever heard of a Inguinal Hernia?

Apart from the issues you have mentioned I assume you have not taken any form of medication? If this is the case and the condition is becoming worse by the day, I would visit your local hospital just to be safe, they can do blood tests and check for numerous abnormalities using either Ultrasound or a CT Scan.
At least this way you will put your own mind at rest - That is what I would do considering the Doctors appointment is quite a way off, and you're feeling worse each day.

Thanks Les - I'm quite sure it is not testicular or an inguinal hernia. Today has been a bit easier, though my legs still feel a bit tired and I've been getting aches on the left of my abdomen. My sleep has been sporatic from feeling unwell so I'm going to try and stay up through the day and get a full nights sleep and see how I feel tomorrow, hopefully I get over this fatigue.

Fatigue, can be caused by many disorders - so it is difficult to say, what exactly it is.
I'm on over 30 medications per day! My wife picked up my monthly medications this morning, couldn't get them all - because I have medications that are rare and are even difficult to get hold of - they are expensive even to the NHS.
Most people cannot believe on the amount of medications I take on average per day, my wife picks up two carrier bags of medication per month! However, every 10 weeks I have Botulinum toxin injections in hospital by a Consultant Neurologist.
I have multiple disorders and they started in my early 20's, now in my 50's and still trying to find ways of controlling seizures, which is difficult because I have Epilepsy and Functional Episodes (28 variations!), Generalised Dystonia and IBS. The core of it all is the Dystonia which is so painful that I'm on Class "A" painkillers, hence half the time I'm high - or I think I'm wide awake when I've actually fallen asleep, this even happens while eating, hence why my wife cares for me 24/7.
The stupid part about it all is, physically I'm just a wreck, but mentally I have to have medication to slow down the brain. What I have over the years is thrown myself through loads of College and University courses, some of them I do not even take the courses - I just do the exams. I can process information and remember it in huge ways. I don't apply for jobs because of my physical body, yet so many companies contact me offering jobs, that are way beyond the scope of most people.
Largest offer of a job yet was this year working as an Advisor with Richard Branson and 11 other guys, working as mentors that Richard Branson was putting up £1,000,000 as a start up fund to the best entrepreneurs. That was a job most people would wish for, the money was amazing, and bonuses on top - including car, and all Business Cable broadband, TV and Phone, and monthly bonuses.
People call me a 'Geek' because basically I know so much and even now I chat to Cisco Security Engineers, Talos Security staff, etc... all the companies that are at the cutting edge of cyber security.
And, if you think the aforementioned was bad enough, I've even been very close to death on 3 occasions!
