Does anyone struggle with a nervous stomach, bloating, etc? The stomach issue seem to be my main issue as of now but has been dealing with it since the start of perimenopause for one year now. If i eat or move around the stomach gets really nervous and start palpitating like a heart beat inside and makes me start shaking. You can actually see it moving. It seem to be worse during ovulation or before period time along with the bloating. If i pass gas or have a bowel move it helps but at the same time the bowel move brings on the nervousness and anxiety from it right afterward. I mentioned it to my GI dr. on my last visit and he said it could be muscle spasm from the stomach. But the weirdiest thing it seem to disappear late night or when my period comes on. This is really getting to me . If anyone ever experienced this or any idea please respond. Thanks
Hi Mary,
I get most of my stomach issues-bloating, gassy, pains, constipation n nausea- right before I have a period. Problem with that is I no longer know when I'm going to have a period! So now I just calm myself by saying " must gonna have a period in a day or two".... and that's what happens. I still freak out regardless. Today I'm having a headache off n on on one side. Always something different! All these strange sensations n pains make any health anxiety go straight through the roof!
Hugs! Happy Easter!
Hi Mary
I am Exactly like you. My stomach is up and down and causes me the most distress. I too get headaches and and lately an awful craving for chocolate.. I know it's hormonal as the chocolate cravings have stopped and the wind and nausea to but this can change tomorrow. It also affects my heart and I too get intern tremmors from it. I've got a low immune system from it all and yesterday woke up to Trush in my mouth... Again eating chocolate due to cravings which encourages fungal infection. I take magnesium, vitamins d b and c which has really stabled my mood an pro biotic which too can help. Mary I understand but hang tight. When it get rough.. Keep sharing as this place has helped greatly. hope this helps. CK
