I have recently been experiencing lower abdomen pains sometimes swells really bad , I've had discharge in a purple/pinky colour. I went to get a scan they said they could see a pit whatever that means so waiting to speak to doctor as they sent a letter for routine appointment to discuss findings . I am worried it's something bad as the last week or so I have now been experiencing more bloating and pains with hot bad smelling gas and upset tummy . Has anyone else had this or any idea what it could be .

First of all have you been on any kind of drug such as gabapentin, ropinirole or some other medication. It sounds like you may have gastritis. have you been to a gastrologist? I have had these same symptoms for the last two months but I went off of gabapentin which is a powerful drug trying to get my restless leg problem better. As I have advised before, go to a different doctor and get a complete work up. good luck.

Maybe you have a vaginal infection. I picked up thrush which started with dodgy discharge after urinary tract antibiotics which were given only in case I had an infection, It turned out I didn’t have a UTI and the reason for my abdominal pain was IBS. My doctor confirmed the antibiotics caused my thrush.
