It was to be day surgery I was in theatre from, 3_30pm till, 10_15 had tube in for 12 days I have suffered from gas problems burping for hours same pains across chest and now I have a hiatus hernia oh happy days x
Yes GB removal can be a hazard or with complications its not a simple thing. Hiatus can do all of that and even reflux issues so sorry you have those problems hope you get well soon.
