Hello, I am a 21yo male. I've been diagnosed with very mild, early-stage urethritis (due to ordinary coagulase-negative staph, nothing else on the urine culture or urethral swab tests) like 10 days ago. After one day of cipro, the symptoms disappeared and i continued taking it for 5 days. But since then, I've been very cautious about my urethra and can't stop looking inside like 10 times a day. What bothers me, is the bump inside, that you can see I pointed in the picture. It is not red or anything, just the same color like the rest of the urethra. Rest of the bumps are just enlarged veins, nothing special, but I am not sure if I the one pointed is a vein too, or something more serious.
I have oral herpes since I was a kid, have taken Acyclovir several times in high doses, now I am supplementing lysine and am herpes-free, no history of genital herpes, one sexual partner for three years, then I have not been sexually active for more than a year now.
The thing is I have a new girlfriend and am getting close to more intimate contact - this may be the reason why I am freaking out, I wouldn't want to infect her with anything.
So my main concern is - does it look like herpes to you? Can it be the first outbreak?
Thank you for advance for your response.
