strange ear issues with anxiety or from anxiety not sure

Weird tinnitus stuff. And few mention this. It makes anxiety levels go so high but I wonder if it causes it too. I dont know. Not just talikng about ringing. Sonogram like  sound, pressure, vibrations..weird ear issue stuff. Ents chalk it up to tinnitus basically no matter what you hear and a eustatian tube issue they cant fix. Anyone else with any of this?

Hi lisalisa.   I get horrible ear problems with anxiety.  It is a job to know what triggers it off. Mine is not so much tinnitus as pressure in my ears and then I get an awful "off balance" feeling which then sets my anxiety into overdrive because I think I'm going to fall over.  Its a nightmare. Doctors don't seem to be bothered in my opinion. I'm on 10mg Citalopram, are you on AD's ?? Luv Lily

Im not allowed to take them..Because they are watching my eye inner angles and i have optic nerve pallor in one eye otherwise i would jump on the medicine bandwagon asap.

I have had good days but last night my kids (older) were yelling and then my husband started yelling for them not to yell and it triggered off head vibrations and ear noises and tinnitus. I have a horrid headache now. Its all very debilitating, the loudness did it but i really need it to go away and i get scared it wont. That part is anxiety i know that 😰

Its so weird how this world works noone really cares or know what to do for ailments and then when it becomes anxiety they label you off. Lonely and scary at times.  The anxiety tells me to worry and not let time calm it down. doctor are diagnosticians but cures are few. And i dont know what is happening in this world but compassion is at an all tiime low. And jeez its expensive to try and find the few good doctors out there and very time consuming. Im sick of reading articles of the wonder cures for an ailment and then i ask the doctor and they look me like im from Mars. Are  Medical breakthroughs fiction?

Yes since my problems with my ears arose I get odd tinnitus and also pressure on them..or an odd vibrating/buzzing sensation.

It is actually quite frightening, especially as ear issues can effect your balance so badly and make ou woozy/dizzy as well.

I've always had slight tinnitus occasionally, but I've definitely had it more and with different types of noises (not just the classic whistle,) since having trouble with my UT

I'm sorry they can't fix your UT I hope over time it gets better..... Ears are a bloody nightmare!!!

Sorry. I meant ET (eustachian tube,) by auto correct obviously didn't like it

Yes they are its crazy all the issues and sounds and vibrations they can cause.

I get a sensation of pressure building within my ears and head, it makes me feel very disorientated and effects my eyes. I can see but they feel very heavy and almost robotic.

It lasts for a few minutes and then I feel it ease, usually this is accompanied by crackling in my ears - it's the strangest thing and I hate it

This is really normal! Ringing and hissing in the ears is 99.9% caused by stress!

If you like, there is an app called Doctor Pocket, those doctors are from Ivy League med schools and they can go into more detail about what you're feeling.

Lisa dear,

seeing as sinuses can affect ears,( and the head ) have you considered a Neti Pot?

My son has one and swears by it

Might be worth looking into it?

Love to you dear friend

Some of it yes and some of it no. The sonogram sound is strange. And the vibrations and  dont even know how to describe what i felt was too weird. I ended up with quite a migrane. I was asked if I have vestibukar migranes by my dentist. I do have tmj and went to the dentist today. By coincidence not for that. The ent had told me months back with the washing machine sound was my eustatian tube was retracted. He could see it messed up. Couldn't fix but saw it. But yes  its a mix no doubt.  Thank you for replying. It is nice to now some of this is anxiety related at least i can hopefully work on that. I started a hypnosis thing its thirty days long im on day three. So hopfully it helps at least to retrain my brain a bit. I will check out the app. As well Thank you again,
