Hi !! When anyone else gets anxious do you ever get a strange feeling from your throat into your chest that feels like your chest tenses up and you cant swallow/breathe ? I've been having these recently and I was wondering if this is common !! They come and go for me and it's really hard for me to control them haha ! I've had my heart looked at multiple times ( a few ekgs, stress test, xrays, ultrasound, heart monitors, blood tests, and a few hospital visits ) so I don't think it's a physical problem but it can get scary either way !! I'm only 19 also, if that helps anyone. I'm always scared I'm gonna have a heart attack or my hearts gonna stop when these happen, even though that's very rare for someone my age :-(

Definitely sounds like anxiety. If you’ve had all the tests you can be reassured your heart is fine. The echocardiogram would have picked up any congenital defects, which are the only way someone your age would have heart problems. Still scary, though, when it happens, I know.
