Three months into suspected labyrinthitis/ VN, have had a very odd chest spasm in what felt like the heart. This after incidents a month or so ago of "missing" or very irregular heartbeats, which lasted a week or more. I just wondered if anyone else had palpitations of this sort, and if they lasted over such a long period after the initial onset. In the early days I would have put it down to anxiety but I don't really feel anxious at all now. Woudl love to know if anyone else had similar?
Yeah, I used to get these and still do on the rare occasion.
They become less frequent as time passes. I'm sure it's something to do with anxiety.

When I was Diagnosed with labyrinthine back in January I was experiencing the same symptoms. I started to realize that I was having anxiety attacks on top of the other symptoms. Now when I start to feel woozy I use an ice pack behind my neck to prevent anxiety and it helps with any kind of symptoms I am having.

Hi Angie, thanks for the good advice. I *definitely* had bad anxiety at the start and a whole bunch of related symptoms – fast heartbeat, shallow breathing, panic attacks, nausea, etc etc. What I don't really get now though (three months in) is how these other things – like chronic shoulder pain, wrist weakness and pain (where did that come from?), numbness on my tongue and lips – can be anxiety related. I don't feel that axious and they seem very physical. TBH I feel like I've aged about 20 years since I first really felt this thing in December, and am fighting a whole load of things that are not ever listed as symptoms of LABS/VN!.
