I don't know how to describe it. But my mind goes haywire and I get random strange meaningless thoughts that come and go and cause anxiety. Once they cross my mind they leave and I can't even recount them. Does anyone else have this issue? It's causing me anxiety, panic attacks and depression. When I'm having these issues I'm also having bad depression. Anyone having these issues?
Yes it happens to me all the time. Its a mind game. Like you then cant stop thinking about something which causes an anxiety attack. For me its health issues. All the symptoms I get get me so worried I end up giving myself more symptoms due to anxiety...
Yes it's very common with anxiety. I have had that on and off for many years. When you get one of those thoughts the worst thing to do is become anxious because that will make everything worse. What you do is, when you get one of those thoughts calmly acknowledge the thought for a few seconds, observe it, then imagine it floating off and dissolving. You have to take the attitude of "no big deal. It will pass. I am safe and OK." That way your brain won't become over anxious and create more of those thoughts.
you were right when you said it crosses your mind and you can't even recall it later. That's because that thought is not really a part of you it's just a fleeting thought created by anxiety that isn't a fact or reality. It's just a thought that passes off .
The more you use that calm method to deal with it, the less you will get the thoughts and the more you practice relaxation the calmer your mind and body will be .
The practice of observing thoughts or symptoms from anxiety and letting them go is part of what is called mindfulness. This is taught all over the world and has helped many people. There are mindful meditations for stress and anxiety found on YouTube that are great! A couple are called detachment from overthinking, clearing subconscious negativity, mindful meditation for relaxation etc. many of these teach you how to separate negative thinking from yourself and so does the book called mindfulness. They are also meditations for depression, sleeping, you name it!
you will be OK once you get the anxiety managed. ❤️😁
