Strange periods and strange symptoms!

Hello! I am 22 years old and I have been suffering with a lot of depression and anxiety for 6 years now. This has affected my period before.

This month I had horrible stomach and back pain which I was taken to the ER for in suspicion of appendicitis or kidney infection. They found nothing.

I had brown spotting and then light brown vaginal discharge with no bleeding and my body temperature rised. I can't say its a fever but it was going between 97.5 and 99 usually in the matter of minutes. I went to my doctor who put me on antibiotics but this didn't do much.

I also fell into horrible depression.

And almost 2 weeks later i get brown spotting again. I don't know what to make out of any of this? (I am not pregnant)

I’m very sorry to hear that, Lily! sad I’ve suffered from depression in the past and it’s the hardest thing I’ve ever been through, so all sympathy from me, sister. 

As far as your periods go, I would think that the irregularities are due to hormone changes caused by falling into depression.  Stress, anxiety and depression can all affect our cycles as much as anything else. Only by the grace of almighty God was I delivered from that low state and into the joys and pleasures of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord...

As far as the spotting- It could also be caused by something like PCOS or other, but I would talk with your doctor. 

A balanced, clean diet and regular excersize (yoga and Pilates are both great for gals like us) are both equally important and crucial for your health.
