Hi ladies, so I was out walking my dog today and smelt this not very nice strong floral smell. At first I was walking past a school with the kids playing out so thought a teacher maybe had alot of perfume on but it disappeard as I carried on walking so thought yeah someone had perfume on that smelt of air freshner but when I got to my destination a small wood it hit me again the same smell there were no flowers around no people so I started getting paranoid like what is that horrid smell then it disappeared. Could this be hormones to?

I am postmenopausal but I have developed a very keen sense of smell and smelling what seems to be phantom odors. I sat in my own living room and smelled a faint floral smell. (I do not have floral room fresheners nor perfume). My husband couldn’t smell anything. I also smelled what I thought was a faint smell of hot electrical or maybe burning plastic. I was the only one who smelled that too. Though that one freaked me out so I called the A/C people out and he replaced some stuff (though he didn’t smell it) and I thought it was gone. Nope smell it again, but not all the time.
My sense of smell is very keen and or coupled by phantom odors? Ugh!!! It is horrible.
ur not alone mam..me too feeling same..in mid night i woke up for Washroom and after coming back try to sleep..i feel orange smell near my bed…then i got up check my room..no orange around..donot know from where smell come ..i check in morning no orange in my home too
