Strange STI Symptoms?

Many months ago I was pretty confident that my ex gave me genital herpes as I had pretty aggressive balanitis, shedding and inflammation a day after first sexual contact. Saw multiple doctors, none of which able to diagnose my condition beyond balanitis as there were no sores; suggesting Candida as the culprit which didnt seem to be the case. Also went through all the tests with no positive results. I was not able to get a blood test for Herpes and the clinician suggested they werent helpful at diagnosing genital herpes as most people have Herpes anyway.

Since that contact my foreskin has gone through frequent periods of itching, shedding, tingling and rashing. A couple days ago I had literal oozing blisters/vesicles and I was convinced I was finally having an outbreak only to notice they were no longer present in the morning. I dont get these sorts of rashes anywhere else.

I have pretty bad hypochondria which fueled all of this suspicion and I am reluctant to go on a crusade scrummaging though endless studies and journals on the internet about what it may or may not be and I have harassed plenty of doctors about phantom health concerns lacking any basis in reality to request a face to face appointment during the pandemic.

They disappeared the following morning without a trace.

based on the way they look and the tingling sensation i would deff say herpes. although its unusual that the sores would go away again. the best way to test for herpes is by a swab. so nexttime/ if there is another outbreak get into a clinic asap so the sore can be swabbed.

I thought Herpes outbreaks are supposed to last a couple weeks.

If these sores show up and disappear within literally a few hours perhaps it isn’t even Herpes at all. The picture doesn’t do it justice either. These bumps really swell up and ooze fluid and then disappear immediately after.

I suppose I could swab them next time it occurs. That would be the best way to find out.

typically herpes outbreaks last 2-3 weeks from the start to finish. thats why i said it would be unusual for them to go away overnight ive never heard of that. i would absolutley get tested to be safe. do you have any other skin problems anywhere else on your body?

Apart from Vitiligo, no.

ok then best to make an appointment. it could possibly be a fungal infection of somesort.
