Stress and Anxiety - any words of wisdom is appreciated

Over the last two months I've been having my fair share of stress. My girlfriend moved in with me which caused some stress as she has OCD. So it has been a trying time. On the flipside, an ex-girlfriend whom I haven't been involved with in years has come out of the woodwork, found out I've moved in with the new girl and started stalking and sending threatening e-mails. My stress level has gone through the roof..  Earlier this month I got bronchitis then I noticed my heart skipping a beat for a couple days. My doc said to not worry about it. (He's a cardiologist) - After that went away, I had a persistent cough for a couple weeks. But since, I got the skip beat palpitations.. He tends to think it's anxiety (Which I've had before) - I had the Holter monitor on so now I'm waiting for results... i don't get any chest pain or anywhere else, but just the thought of this is driving me bonkers. The palps are subsiding but it's been three days. I did the iPhone Kardia EKG which came back normal.   How do you stop this way of thinking?

Distraction is key. What type of OCD does your girlfriend have?  Also, inform the police of your ex-girlfriends threats.

She has the type that spit shines everything and If something is out of place she fixes it.. Oh I already got a police report.
