so ived made a big mistake. over a year ago in the summer of 2017. i used my friends dildo who been exposed to hsv2 around that time. i was young and dumb. it looked clean becouse it didnt have any residue or cum or any dried fluids on it. ive also put a condom over it. am i ok? does herpes require skin to skin contact or fresh bodily fluids from the dildo ?

I already answered this for you, it is IMPOSSIBLE to get herpes that way. If that is the only thing you’re concerned about and you have had no other sexual contact, oral or genital, then you do not have genital herpes (most people have oral HSV-1 from childhood, so that is still a possibility for anyone despite sexual contact). If you’ve had any sexual contact, then there is always a possibility of herpes. Glad you took a blood test to get some answers.
