So I've been treated with hsv2 about 8 months ago, and recently I got a rash around my vagina, and it's very red and skin is flaky and it burns and its very itchy. Any best ointments for it??
The rash does not sound like it's due to herpes. Better to get that looked at by a doctor. Could be dermatitis or fungal.
The best ointment is a ice pack while you sleep. It's freezes you but also take Valtrex 500 mg it works very well. There is also coconut oil that will moisturizer the skin for better comfort but where a maxi pad bc it will stain your panties.
