So, I went to a new psychiatrist because of my anxiety related to essential tremor and he gave me this meds to take. I was taking xanax 2mg as needed. What do you think of this combo for anxiety? Already tried SSRI's such as Escitalopram and benzos such as Ethyl Loflazepate and it didn't work, except xanax.
So, what do you think about these meds?
Hi john,do you have to slowly come off xanax before starting these new meds? if youve taken it awhile and at that dose from what I know you cant go cold turkey,have to slowly wean off it,if you have any problems i would question the doctor about this. I take the generic form which is alprazolam.
No, I only take xanax as needed. Maybe 2 or 3 times a week max.
Oh okay just wanted to make sure you knew if you took it daily,had to wean off of it.
But do you know something about Sulpiride? He prescribed me Sulpiride but I'm not maniac nor nothing like that. I just have anxiety because of my Essential tremor.
