Superventricular taca cardia

Thank you for the fetal position,I have had svt sinceiwas 13?is there any cure for this,my doctor don't seam to thing so

Hello Jerry. Did you look at  " SVT - HOW DO YOU STOP IT? "   Lots of different ways people are using to stop it, a page for putting your way to stop these attacks, not for discussions. As far as I can see, ABLATION cures some people, but thats not for cowards like me - I use drugs and then if one starts, the different ways -   no hospital trips for near 2 years now - hooray !   Good Luck .. jay

The cardiologist that I first saw told me the same. I then went on to see a professor who deals in rhythms I.e electrics of the heart not the whole heart and got my solution through an ablation. Please don't give up there is a solution

I have been having spasmodic SVT's for 4 years and only found out today that I havent seen a cardiologist. The 'specialist' I saw was actually a gp who has interest in cardiology and is no longer around. I have asked to see a proper cardiologist and you would have thought I was asking for the earth. I'm a Carer too. My husband has Parkinsons Disease.

That's terrible. Everyone has a right to see a specialist. Go back to your surgery and ask them to make you an appointment. The longer this goes on the more anxious you will become. Hey we only have one heart and it deserves to be looked after by someone who knows what their doing. Take care
