Has any one got any advice for me please about surgery for UC and having a pwo bag and a j pouch. I have an appointment with a general surgeon next month and my mind us in turmoil.
do your research first. there is. a lot valuable research and customer reviews on the internet .I can't give you Any advice I use natural remedies which works for me but everyone is different. and some people are worst off than me ,wishing you well
Good morning tina so sorry but I can't give any advice really either, I was so bad in hospital once that they was going to do the surgery on me I had the pouch to practise on all day and night and saw the after care team aswell, prepared my family only to be told the next day they wasn't going to do it! I wanted to have the surgery as nothink was working for me but now on bio logics (which I didn't want to go on) wishing you all the luck and hopefully you will be free of the disease x
