Had my gallbladder out yesterday. Open cholysisectomy. Apart from obviously being rather painful, no nasty symptoms. Eating and drinking fine, no nausea and no daily headache! Up and walking about already, got a drain in which will come out tomorrow. Looks like I will also be going home tomorrow! Hoping that I continue like this!
That's awesome 😊 I went home 1 hour after having mine removed but it was key hole surgery! I hope you carry on getting better and your pain subsides soon and you get to go home tomorrow 😊 take care,

Glad I read this, my sister was taken into hospital yeaterday, and was told she has to have the same operation.at some point soon...she is terrified, but I will put her mind at ease now I have read this....thank you

The only thing i will comment is please tell you sister to do her own research aswell regarding the op. Ive suffered with flares ups ever since after joining this site i found i wasnt the only one. But there are also people that have fully recovered and i really hope your sister is one of them
