I've been suffering with pelvic pain on front and back of my left side for few years now. I've also had 6 miscarriages all the same positive test but no visual embryo during scans.
My other symptoms that effect me most of the time is difficultypassing stools and feeling that my inside are twisted with trapped wind
I plan to see my GP but what exactly can I expect in treatment for pain and fertility.
I'm 34yrs old and have one child who is 6yrs old
You can’t tell for sure until your have surgery, but if you have pelvic pain & fertility issues it’s quite possible. Getting a good gyno who specialises in endo is the hard part, especially if you are in the public system. There are different treatments depending on the severity. I recommend joining the endo discussion group aust as the ladies give good info, there are also specific support groups which I find helpful as well. Ive has endo on and off for 25 years but have had 3 children and lots of endo free years, I’ts just reared it’s ugly head again for me so I’m researching to get the treatment which will give me the longest pain free result. It’s about managing the condition and not letting the pain control you...it’s hard. Stay positive.
I had a lap in August and was diagnosed with mild endo.. since then we’ve been trying to have a baby and thus far have not been successful.. everyone’s journey is different but we have tried timed intercourse (with meds) and we are on our second medicated IUI cycle.. we will try one more IUI and then move on to IVF.. I know people who have gotten pregnant completely on their own a few months after their lap.. your doctor will have more information for u on what’s best once you’ve had the surgery
